When you receive your new Smart Tag in the post, set up your account here and activate the tag by entering the unique code on the front of the tag.
You can include multiple contact methods, dietary and behavioural information, vet, microchip and insurance details and more.
The Smart Tag comes with a strong steel split ring for security.
As long as the owner of the device gives permission by allowing location services*, and signal is available, you will receive the GPS location of where the tag was accessed.
*If location services is not active, the location sharing is dictated by the internet service provider and where they are registered, as well as where the exchange is. Exchange location is based on demand in the area. The closest exchange determines the location shown at this link.
They will now be able to use this information to contact you and look after your pet's individual needs in the meantime!
What to do if you lose your smart tag
If you lose your smart tag, you will need to go to your pet’s profile and ‘Remove’ the lost tag. When you receive your new tag you can simply log in again and ‘Activate’ the new tag using the new unique letters on the front of the tag. Only one Smart Tag can be active for each pet. You can create a second profile for the same pet if you have more than one smart tag on different collars.
